Who we are
Cape Cleaning Services (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2026/757870/07) is the responsible party for personal information collected through capecleaningservices.co.za, WhatsApp, phone and email. Our Information Officer can be reached at [email protected] or +27 83 265 5884.
What we collect
- Details you give us: your name, phone/WhatsApp number, suburb, the service you want, how often, and any notes or photos you send.
- Basic technical data our hosting provider (Cloudflare) records to keep the site secure and working, such as IP address and browser type.
Why we use it
Only to respond to your enquiry, quote, schedule and carry out the cleaning you ask for, invoice you, and keep a record of work done. We don't sell or rent your information, and we won't send you marketing unless you ask us to.
Where it's kept
Quote requests are emailed to our business inbox through our email provider (Resend) and may be stored in a secure database on Cloudflare. WhatsApp messages are held in WhatsApp. Some of these providers process data outside South Africa, under their own security and privacy commitments.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying you.
How long we keep it
Only as long as needed for the purposes above and for our legal and tax records — then it's deleted.
Your rights
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to us using it, by emailing [email protected]. If you're not happy with our response, you can complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.
